Pole Class : Intro to Level 8

Intro Level 1

This class combines the Intro class with the Level 1 material.

It's perfect for the first-time student, or the student who has taken the Intro class and wants to repeat it or wants to bring a friend, or the Level 1 student who doesn't mind reviewing the basic material.

First-time students will get the full Intro lesson; Level 1 students will also learn some new skills at their level.

Level 1-3

This class combines skills from levels 1, 2 and 3. Thats a big span, we know. Some of you won't be inverting yet; some will.

Some won't be using spin mode yet; some will. But were up for the challenge are you? Must have taken Intro Class prior to joining this class.

Level 4-6

If you have passed Level 3 in our curriculum, you are welcome to participate in this class.

You will be working on intermediate-advanced inverts and tricks.  As well as work on more challenging routines that incorporate your skills and stamina.

Level 6-8

This class is for our advanced students who are comfortable doing scorpio, gemini, jasmine, layback, and at least working on butterfly and extended butterfly.

If you've been working through our curriculum, you must have completed Level 5 to sign up for this class.

Roller pole

In this class, students will learn how to incorporate pole dancing with rollerskating! Students will practice pole moves in skates, as well as learn moves specifically for skates. There will also be plenty of time to play and mess around!

Level 1 minimum is required, but skating experience is not needed!

If students have their own skates, please bring them! Students will need an indoor set of outdoor jelly wheels and bearings on their skates (softer wheels than the hard, indoor wheels). The outdoor wheels are very gentle on the floor so please bring in a set that can be designated for indoor use.

Studio has women's size 5, 6, 7, 7.5, 8, 9 and 10 but only one of each size.

Technique

In this class, students can get more comfortable in heels while learning the proper technique to do so! This class will run similarly to the standard leveled classes: running through all of the beginner tricks and spins, giving each student a strong foundation for pole dancing in heels. There is no better time to work on strengthening the feet, pointing the toes, and leveling up each person's flow!

Prerequisites: Must have taken at least one Intro to Pole or Intro/1 Pole Class! The tricks being practiced in heels will be from Intro through Level 3, so this is a class targeted at all beginner students!
